This is a series of more than 80 books, written by a single author, about disease mechanism based on abnormal modulations of membrane microdomains. It took me more than 14 years of extreme hard work to complete my books. I discovered, during my long journey, a unified mechanism for all diseases, in all organs, and at any age based on modulations of membrane microdomains through changes in transmembrane proteins or ionic imbalance between both sides of cell membrane. The mechanism is applied to major basic cell physiology and to most aspects of medicine in clinical practice. The objective of this book series is to change the history of medicine. I declare herein the opening of Pandora’s Box; it is up to the reader now to explore what’s inside.

My Theory

These books are written as part of a one big theory which states that disease pathogenesis is the same regardless of the cause, age, or affected organ, and that membrane microdomain disorganization is related, directly or indirectly, to the pathogenesis of all diseases. The mechanism of any disease can be explained by knowing the nature of the resulting membrane microdomain phenotype.

Preface

In 1993, I finished my 4 years of residency training in pediatrics. The last year of residency was an exceptional turning point in my life, during which I attended a one-year diploma in general pediatrics. Since then, I became interested in teaching junior residents.
